Highboy

This 18th Century cherry highboy has descended in a prominent American family.  It spent the last fifty years neglected in a basement!  Two missing drawers, one with a carved fan were made from antique wood.  The rosettes on the gooseneck moldings, waist moldings, finials and two drop pendant were copied from historical examples.  The period color was closely matched and new elements glazed to blend with the original.  A hand rubbed satin finish glows softly.
