Library

This magnificent library is the centerpiece in a 18,000 sq. ft. home built in 1999.  Styled after an English country manor, its theme is that of an ancient ancestral home.  The new wood, both solid and plywood panels were color aged to a patina that appears to be 100 years  old, but in perfect condition.  This is continued throughout the entire first floor.   The library is a full two stories that rises to a coffered ceiling.  The wraparound balcony and reading area upstairs is lined with bookshelves filled with the owner's collection of leather bound books.  French doors open onto an outdoor balcony.  The sunny windows, working fireplace, and private half-bath complete the ideal place to curl up with a book.
